Join me for a cozy fall morning on the banks of Christiana Creek. We'll start with a chef-prepared brunch made by my husband, who cooks for all of my retreats and is also considered a highlight for guests! Good food, good company, and a little time to settle in before we pick up our brushes.
From there, we'll move into the watercolor workshop portion. I'll walk you through an autumn-inspired painting step by step, no experience needed. We'll talk through color mixing to capture those warm fall tones, work on loose, expressive brushwork for foliage and trees, and build up layers of color for a vibrant and full autumn scene. You'll leave with a finished piece and a few new techniques to take home with you. The creek and the fall color around us will be all the inspiration we need.
This one's close to home. We're hosting it at our place in Elkhart, and it's meant to give you a smaller, local taste of what my retreats are like, without the travel.
All supplies are included. Just bring yourself and an appetite.
This workshop is for participants who are ages 18 & up!
