Calling all book lovers! Join watercolor artist and educator Alexandra Hibshman for a Valentine’s themed watercolor workshop designed especially for readers who love to get creative! This beginner friendly class is perfect for all experience levels and offers a cozy, art-filled way to celebrate both books and the Valentine’s season.
The workshop begins with an introduction to watercolor basics, including simple techniques that help build confidence with the medium. From there, participants will dive into painting charming Valentine’s inspired bookmarks. You can follow along with Alexandra’s original designs or create your own personalized bookmarks that reflect your favorite colors, patterns, or reading vibes.
This workshop is relaxed, welcoming, and focused on enjoying the creative process. Each participant will leave with some hand painted watercolor bookmarks that are perfect for marking pages, gifting to a fellow book lover, or keeping as a special handmade treat for yourself.
All supplies are provided, so you can simply show up, unwind, and enjoy a bookish and creative Valentine’s experience.
Drinks will be available for purchase during the workshop.
