This one is going to be a delight. In this hands-on workshop designed for young artists ages 6 to 10, kids will dive into the colorful world of watercolor while painting the most irresistible subject matter imaginable: dessert! Through guided, beginner-friendly instruction, participants will explore the essential techniques of watercolor, including color mixing, brush control, layering, and creating that beautiful, luminous quality that makes watercolor so special.
As a watercolor artist and former K-12 educator, I have built this workshop to meet young learners right where they are. Every child will be met with encouragement, clear instruction, and a whole lot of fun. Each participant will walk away with some creative confidence and a finished piece they can be proud of!
