New to gouache? This workshop is a hands-on introduction to one of my favorite mediums, opaque, vibrant, and a little more forgiving than watercolor.
We’ll explore gouache through a moody botanical piece, layering leaves and foliage against a rich dark background. You’ll learn how gouache handles differently than watercolor, how to build up color in layers, and how to get clean, confident shapes.
No gouache experience needed. We’ll start with the fundamentals and build from there, so you’ll leave with real skills you can keep using.All supplies are provided. Just show up curious. Leave with a finished botanical piece and a solid foundation in a new medium.
Registration for this workshop also includes tea and tea time treats from Apothica Teas.
This workshop is located on a second floor and there are no elevators.
This workshop is for participants who are ages 16&up!
