This workshop is the ultimate introduction to watercolor and a perfect starting point for anyone curious about the medium.
We’ll begin by diving into the foundational techniques of watercolor, exploring how water and pigment interact to create the soft, layered effects that make this medium so unique. You’ll practice a variety of techniques and discover the different textures and marks you can achieve with watercolor’s beautifully sheer qualities.
Once you’ve explored the basics, you’ll use what you’ve learned to create a finished piece that brings those techniques together. With guidance along the way, you’ll experiment with color, layering, and texture to create a painting that reflects your own creativity.
This class is open to all skill levels, including beginners, and all materials are provided. By the end of the workshop, you’ll leave with a finished watercolor piece and a strong foundation of techniques you can continue using in your own painting.
This workshop is for participants who are ages 15&up!
